Introduction
Welcome to my e-portfolio! As a student in EDCI 505 at Ashland University, I have had the opportunity to learn and practice many new technologies available for educators. This is my third and last semester in Ashland's Bachelor's Plus program. I am working toward my license in Integrated Language Arts, 7-12. I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2010 with a Bachelor's of Science in Education. I had planned to pursue a career as a post-secondary instructor, but then I started substitute teaching at a local high school, and realized I needed to make a plan to get my teaching license.
On top of this class, I am currently in my student teaching internship, so I've had a somewhat unique experience of being able to put what I've learned in this class into practice pretty quickly. I tried to tie nearly all of the assignments to standards and lessons which I would be able to use with my students.
The purpose of this portfolio is to demonstrate the technological profeciency I've gained during this class. In it, you will find examples of all the projects I've completed during this course along with brief narratives about my process behind each assignment.
