I was pretty skeptical about really using Twitter.  I’ve had a twitter account for my students for the past few years.  As a long-term sub, I used twitter to remind students of assignments, give out links to notes, etc, but I never really paid much attention to the word of twitter outside of communicating to my students.  

During student teaching, I have continued to use my @MsLohrman account to send out notes and such, but I’ve also really enjoyed using my @nlohrman account to keep up with education news, tech info, and general trending stories.  Although I will continue to use my @MsLohrman account for my students, I will most likely start following others in order to broaden my twitter horizon.
